It's exposition time! In case you were wondering, this is all supposed to be from Drake's point of view as he recovers from his head wound. So he's still alive! Hurray! And since he a: doesn't understand sign language and b: has his eyes closed for a good portion of the conversation, he only knows Midnight's portion of the conversation.
. . . This might seem like I'm being lazy, but I wanted somthing that flows well with that fade to black in the last panel of the previous page, and this seemed like the best way to do it. Yeah. Hurray for weekends off! I get stuff done during them! Not, you know, stuff like laundry or cleaning, but important things like books and pictures.
